DENVER—Denver’s public swimming pools opened just in time for record heat.
The pools opened over the weekend. On Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service says, Denver International Airport reached a record high of 94 degrees.
The previous record for June 4 was 93 degrees, set in 2010.
