ASPEN, Colo.—Pitkin County is planning to give $1,000 bonuses to employees this summer.
County officials say the bonuses are deserved because this will be the first pay increase for government workers in three years.
According to the Aspen Daily News ( ), county commissioners included the 1.5 percent bonuses for their employees in this year’s budget.
