The joint Independence Day celebration for Littleton and Englewood has been canceled.
The city of Littleton tweeted Wednesday that the Family Festival & Fireworks at Cornerstone, Belleview and Progress parks has been canceled.
The 17th annual event had been scheduled for July 4 at all three parks, culminating with fireworks at the baseball fields at Cornerstone Park that evening.
