The Apothecary Shop, a national specialty pharmacy based in Phoenix said Tuesday that it will acquire Colorado Pharmacy,a specialty pharmacy serving the Denver area.
Including the Colorado store, The Apothecary Shop will operate 17 retail stores and maintain a 21,000 square foot distribution center in Phoenix.
“Colorado Pharmacy has a strong record of service to patients and providers in the Denver area,” said Apothecary Shops president Keith Cook. “By bringing this already successful pharmacy under our umbrella, we can continue to grow our business.”
Under The Apothecary Shop brand, Colorado Pharmacy, which is mainly focused on infectious diseases, will be able to offer expanded clinical services.
“We’re always searching for ways to strategically position The Apothecary Shops to better benefit our customers,” Cook said.
