COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A man who drowned in Chatfield Reservoir this week was an evacuee from the Waldo Canyon wildfire.

The body of 37-year-old Jason Gustav Stark was found Wednesday in the reservoir southwest of Denver.

Douglas County sheriff’s office spokesman Ron Hanavan told The Gazette of Colorado Springs ( ) that Stark had been camping with friends near the reservoir when he disappeared.

The coroner has ruled the death an accident.
