Embroidery, quilting and sewing enthusiasts will not want to miss the Rocky Mountain Sew Expo at the Denver Merchandise Mart, 451 E. 58th Ave. It features a vendor mall, exhibits, seminars, make-it and take-it projects, workshops, fashion shows, demonstrations, classes and more. Outdoor galleria
Admission is free to the fourth annual Downtown Frisco Green Art Festival happening 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in downtown Frisco. The two-day eco-friendly outdoor gallery features juried artwork by local and regional artists who must incorporate repurposed or recycled objects into their work.
