Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree has been named one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the country by Soliant Health, one of the largest health care staffing companies in the United States.
Sky Ridge ranked No. 18 on the list after receiving 2,122 votes in a survey of more than 170,000 individuals.
Soliant Health noted that the Lone Tree hospital is “perhaps the most beautiful hospital against the surrounding terrain: This modest outpost facility sits, seemingly alone, on a majestic patch of Colorado prairie.”
Maureen Tarrant, chief executive of Sky Ridge, said that being recognized by Soliant Health “is a testament of our commitment to providing nurturing surroundings that aid with healing.”
Built in 2003, Sky Ridge was Douglas County’s first hospital. The facility is near Interstate 25 in the southern metro Denver area and has a commanding view of the Rocky Mountains to the west.
