A Liberty High School science teacher and former boys basketball coach was arrested Saturday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a student, according to Colorado Springs police.
Travis Clark, 32, is suspected of sexually assaulting a student 15 to 18 years old between Feb. 21 and Feb. 28, according to court documents.
Clark was suspended by the District 20 school on March 1, the same day school administrators were informed of the allegations, said Nanette Anderson a spokesman for the district.
Shortly after, the school turned the investigation over to police, she said.
