Thursday-Aug. 26. Last year’s Too Much Funstival was an ambitious mix of comedy, music and hipster field day activities. But the Fine Gentleman’s Club, pictured above, which named the fest after its weekly stand-up showcase at the Deer Pile, is planning an even bigger second year. It starts Thursday with Portland favorite Ron Funches, Denver’s Total Ghost and Men in Burka and many others on the Meadowlark patio, followed by Aug. 24 music and comedy in the City O’ City parking lot, Aug. 25 kickball in Curtis Park, evening music at 3 Kings Tavern (with Wheelchair Sports Camp and Bad Weather California) and an Aug. 26 closing at Casselman’s with Sean Patton, lucha libre wrestling and more music. $5 per show. Various times. .
