CLARK, Colo.—A 21-year-old Clark man is recovering from injuries after a shotgun shell he was drilling exploded.
Keith West told deputies he was trying to take the shell apart with a power tool on Tuesday and he didn’t realize the shell was still loaded.
According to Steamboat Today ( ), West lost parts of his thumb, index and middle fingers in the accident.
