BOULDER — The motorcyclist who was involved in a traffic accident on 30th Street on Tuesday afternoon has died from his injuries, according to Boulder police.
A woman driving a 2000 Lexus SUV told police she pulled out of a private parking lot driveway about 4:50 p.m. Tuesday and attempted to make a left turn onto northbound 30th Street near O’Neal Parkway, according to a news release. She told police she thought she had enough time to safely make the turn, but the motorcyclist — traveling southbound on 30th Street — did not have time to stop.
Witnesses at the scene attempted CPR, but the man was declared dead at Boulder Community Hospital. Investigators say he was wearing a helmet.
