DENVER—Authorities say a bicyclist who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the Denver suburb of Lakewood has died of his injuries.

Police spokesman Randy McNitt says 58-year-old Kenneth W. Kienzle of Lakewood was struck by a vehicle at an intersection Wednesday morning, was declared brain dead Thursday and died Friday.

McNitt tells The Denver Post ( ) that 22-year-old Catherine Marie Bean was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault, driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to remain at the scene of an accident. A charge of vehicular homicide will be added to the counts.
