A 25-acre fire is burning in northwest Larimer County in the Roosevelt National Forest, the U.S. Forest Service said Monday evening.
The Roach fire is about 2 miles northwest of Hohnholtz Lake in the Old Roach area. No structures were being threatened Monday evening.
A 20-person crew is expected to join the effort this evening, with another another helicopter, a heavy air tanker and two 20-person crews on standby to assist Tuesday.
