FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Jurors in the trial of an Occupy Wall Street sympathizer accused of arson in Fort Collins will wait until next week to resume deliberations.
The case against Benjamin Gilmore went to jurors Tuesday, but they haven’t reached a verdict yet. The Coloradoan reports ( ) that because a juror had plans to leave town Friday for a wedding, District Judge Devin Odell allowed for deliberations to continue Monday.
Gilmore faces seven felony counts, including arson, attempted murder, burglary and criminal mischief in connection with a fire that destroyed a building under construction and spread to a residential complex in October. It caused $10 million in damage and displaced about two dozen residents.
