Taking rock to a literal level, unveiled its newest music video Monday with a little help from Jim Henson’s Muppet musicians down in Fraggle Rock.
“Do It Anyway” is the long anticipated — 13 years long, if you’re counting — reunion of the band, whose album “The Sound of the Life and Mind” was released Tuesday.
The video centers around a recording session that just happens to take place above the underground world of the Fraggles, who soon join in on the song. Also included are appearances by comic Rob Corddry, actress Anna Kendrick and video production company Nerdist Industries’ founder Chris Hardwick.
A features insightful interviews with the human and muppet band members. This year is the 30th anniversary of the “Fraggle Rock” show, which ran from 1983 to 1987, so the video is a true reemergence into the world of music for both parties.
