in Evergreen has been offering massages, manicures and makeup treatments for 17 years at its picturesque foothills location on Upper Bear Creek Road. In that time, the spa has also become a community partner, getting involved in various charities and organizations. In that spirit, TallGrass will throw its fourth annual hair and fashion show, Transitions 12, at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at Evergreen Country Day School. Hair, makeup and nail treatments from TallGrass stylists will be featured at the event, as will clothes from Boone Mountain Sports, DARE Boutique, Le Boudoir Lingerie, Sweetwater and the TallGrass boutique. There will also be canine models from the Evergreen Animal Protective League. Funds raised from ticket sales and a silent auction will benefit Mount Evans Home and Hospice’s Camp Comfort for grieving children and Mountain Area Land Trust.
