WINTER PARK — Camping enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the Snow Mountain Ranch is adding five fully furnished yurts to its existing yurt village of seven. Other improvements include a picnic shelter and playground.
Up to six people can sleep inside each yurt, with space for two additional people on a camping tent pad outside. Yurts are equipped with one queen and two bunked beds, and microwave and mini-fridge. Outside are picnic tables, a fire ring and charcoal grill.
In addition to enjoying the stay at the yurt, guests of the have access to extensive indoor and outdoor facilities, including more than 100 km of trails, an indoor pool with a waterslide, tennis courts, an archery range, and a mini golf course. Over this winter, plans will be put in motion to add a three-story climbing wall and an indoor archery range.
