A Florence woman was killed Sunday morning when she lost control of her car on an icy, snow-covered road in Fremont County.
Her name was not released, pending notification of family.
The Colorado State Patrol told the single-vehicle crash happened about three miles outside Florence on Colorado 115 near mile marker 12 at about 11 a.m.
Her 2005 Saturn sedan slid off the road and into a ravine, Trooper Nate Reid told the newspaper. She was traveling alone.
