Details: Sara Lee has voluntarily recalled its Butter Streusel Coffee Cake — with the UPC # 3210002342 and a BEST BY DATE of Oct. 16, 2013 — as a precautionary measure. No other Sara Lee branded products, including Sara Lee branded fresh bakery products, are affected by this voluntary recall.
Why: The product may contain pecans, an undeclared allergen, that are not listed on the label. People who are allergic to pecans could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. For consumers who are not allergic to pecans, there is no safety issue with the product.

BOULDER ICE CREAM
Details: Due to the ongoing Sunland Inc. nationwide peanut recall, Boulder Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled certain ice cream and gelato products. Included in this recall are select lots of Boulder Ice Cream Peanut Butter Cup, Sorano Gelato Chocolate Peanut Butter, Boulder Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Gelato and others, all with best-buy dates of Oct. 3rd or earlier. The products were distributed nationally to numerous large supermarket chains; the larger format container products were distributed to food service.
Why: These products may have been manufactured using peanut ingredients recalled by Sunland Inc. due to potential Salmonella contamination.
