If you want a taste of how much energy homebuyers are bringing to the 2013 market, come see the procession of families touring KB Home’s opening at Meridian Village in Parker (two families bought homes New Year’s Eve!). The Vistas at Meridian Village, midway between Lone Tree and Parker’s old-town Main Street, matches Douglas County Schools to a terrific commuter location for anybody along south I-25 or 470. KB Home has two eye-catching single-family models loaded with outdoor living features – including a Greenland ranch plan that’s attracting sales from buyers younger than 50 as well as from those older.

If you like the look of that ranch, KB Home has one set to deliver in two weeks, with a full garden level basement that adds future possibilities for doubling its space into day-lighted guest suites and rec area. It also has a 3-car garage and upscale features: a slab granite/stainless appliance kitchen; on site-finished wood floors that reach into two-thirds of the main floor level; and a master suite that has a view of Long’s Peak. Today it’s priced at $412,000; KB Home has held back a New Year price increase, and this will be your last chance to get in under the wire at 2012 prices.
You can see a family-sized Roxborough 3-bedroom plan on the same track; with a loft area for kids’ homework, 3-car garage, luxury trim features, and a full walkout basement and covered porch. KB Home president Matt Mandino notes that this entire collection is geared around Colorado outdoor living – something you’ll see in a courtyard with firepit included with this home.

All families at Meridian Village get master-planned amenities with a pool and park/trail system you can already see; along with Douglas County schools and a location that blends Lone Tree’s and Parker’s nearby shopping to a quieter setting. Mandino notes that sales reps Marty Doane and Angie Weil see buyers from CH2M Hill, Western Union, Dish Network and other nearby Meridian employers. “These people are telling us we’ve taken the right approach in the quality we’re delivering,” Mandino adds. “They want more than four walls and a roof; they want to see creativity.” Customers can also use their own creativty through KB Home’s Built-to-Order options and design center.

You can also tour KB Homes’ super affordable paired homes at Villas at Meridian Village – the lowest priced homes in the entire master plan (this weekend, from just $229,995). Either sales team will provide you a reusable grocery shopping bag, while they last. To reach from I-25, take Lincoln Avenue east 2.2 miles to Meridian Village Parkway, head south a half mile and turn right.
