Police in southeastern Colorado have issued a search warrant for a suspect in a shooting death.
The body of Tara Martinez, 29, was found by family members at about 2 a.m. Tuesday in a home in the 200 block of Schuyler Avenue, Olney Springs, according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigation media release.
An arrest warrant has been issued for William John Donnell III, 32, the CBI said.
Donnell, the victim’s boyfriend, is described by police as a white man, 6 feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen driving a dark green Pontiac Grand Am with gold rims, tinted windows and Colorado license plate 711-ZDR.
Donnell is considered armed and dangerous.
