COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A public memorial service is planned Monday for Colorado’s top prison official, who was fatally shot when he answered his front door.
The service for Tom Clements is set for 10 a.m. Monday at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, one day after a private funeral is held for him. Details of the private funeral Sunday haven’t been released.
The Colorado Department of Corrections executive director was killed at his home Tuesday night in Monument, north of Colorado Springs. The 58-year-old’s survivors include his wife and two daughters.
