DENVER—A convict who walked away from a minimum security facility a month age has been apprehended in Denver.

The Colorado Department of Corrections says 30-year-old Kenneth Gomez was arrested without incident Friday. The Department says he was found by a fugitive location unit.

Gomez was working as a mechanic at the Colorado State Patrol Garage in Golden but did not report for a formal count on April 17.

Gomez was convicted of burglary and disturbing the public peace in 2011. He was sentenced to five years.
