INTERSECTIONS 

This “self-scripted” theater show features young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youths talking about their experiences as homeless citizens. At the Community College of Denver, 855 Lawrence Way. Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

THE BIG EAT 

Fire up an appetite for the 3rd annual The Big Eat. Over 30 area restaurants bring snacks and drinks for a three-hour feast at Sustainability Park, 2500 Lawrence St. Sunday, 2-5 p.m. Benefits EatDenver, a coalition of 70 area restaurants. $40.

INDIE FICTION 

Barry Wightman, author of “Pepperland” joins Mike Keefe and Mark Stevens, who are shepherding a series of novels by late Denver cabbie Gary Reilly, for a reading and discussion about their work and independent fiction. The latest Reilly novel, “The Heart of Darkness Club,” publishes this week. Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Tattered Cover LoDo.
