A new report released Monday shows that Colorado entrepreneurs launched 122 “digital technology” startups in 2012. Sixty-nine companies raised at least $1 million in funding, with software and business-to-business Web services representing the fastest-growing areas, according to the report by Built In Denver. Twenty Colorado tech companies were acquired in 2012. Colorado tech firms attracted funding from at least 47 out-of-state investors.
