Police continue to investigate telephone calls reporting the , although no reports have surfaced about a missing child.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office also received a 911 call from a person claiming to be nine-year-old Marcel, the Parker Police Department said Friday.

About 4:45 p.m. Thursday Parker police received a transferred 911 call from the Douglas County Dispatch Center about a possible kidnapping. The call was traced to an area near 9190 Crown Crest Blvd., near South Parker Road and E-470.

The caller, purported to be Marcel, said he was walking to a grocery store, location unknown, when he was kidnapped by an unknown man. Marcel told police he believed he was in blue station wagon and he was calling from the trunk and the vehicle was on a highway.

A call from the same person went to Denver police dispatch.

Parker police are working with the sheriff’s office on the incident.

There have been no reports of missing children in the area.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 911 or Parker police at 303 841-9800.
