LODO BITES Dinner on the go! Wear comfortable shoes to eat and drink your way through Lower Downtown Denver on Tuesday night, when 25 restaurants will offer nibbles and sips for a single ticket price. 5 to 9 p.m. $35 in advance, $45 at the door.

MARK ROTHKO The Denver Art Museum’s newest show, “Figure to Field: Mark Rothko in the 1940s,” opens today. The ’40s were a transitional period for the American painter, who pivoted into abstract expressionism and his famous color-field paintings. Through September 29.

TEMPLE GRANDIN Best-selling author and CSU professor Temple Grandin will read from and sign copies of “The Autistic Brain” at the Tattered Cover LoDo location on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
