A man was killed early Thursday when he crashed his motorcycle on Colorado 58 on the ramp to Interstate 70 in Wheat Ridge.
The 37-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was heading eastbound on the interchange about 12:50 a.m. when he hit a cement guard rail on a curve, Wheat Ridge police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The eastbound ramp to Interstate 70 was closed for about five hours while the department’s crime and traffic team investigated the crash.
