GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Glenwood Springs residents are telling Colorado lawmakers they need help with highway problems.

According to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent (), some residents want a new Grand Avenue Bridge, while other residents are arguing for a Highway 82 bypass.

The Colorado Department of Transportation plans to use $60 million from the state Bridge Enterprise Fund to build a new bridge across the Colorado River, but opponents said Thursday the money could be better used to ease congestion on Highway 82 through the city.
