Saturday-Sunday. When your list of collaborators includes Yo-Yo Ma, Isaac Mizrahi and Mikhail Baryshnikov, you know you’ve arrived. Or rather, you’ve been here for a while, as is the case with choreographer Mark Morris, whose lyrical, self-aware touring company performs nearly 100 shows annually in a dozen-plus cities around the country. Denver has never been one of them, but that changes this weekend when the 33-year-old, New York-based Mark Morris Dance Group steps into Gates Concert Hall at DU’s Newman Center Sept. 21-22 for a program that includes music from Schumann, Ivor Cutler, Henry Cowell and Lou Harrison. 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21, 2 p.m. Sept. 22. 2344 E. Iliff Ave. $23-$65. 303-871-7720 or .
