DENVER—A winter storm warning is in effect for northern Colorado.
The National Weather Service says heavy snow is possible Thursday evening in the northern mountains and northern Front Range foothills.
Up to 18 inches of snow is expected in some areas. The weather service says significant amounts of snow will make travel dangerous.
