Foothills Animal Shelter is celebrating Adopt a Shelter Dog Month with Dogtober Fest. Dog adoptions are discounted 50 percent through Oct. 31. (Dogs under 6 months of age are excluded). The fee includes a health check, vaccinations, spay/neuter and a microchip.
