After previewing much of the new album in a series of , has shared the studio version of “Afterlife.”
Zane Lowe premiered the new Arcade Fire song Monday on BBC Radio 1. This is the first new studio material from the album we’ve heard since the band debuted “Reflektor” on Sept. 9.
Compared to its rather morbid themes, “Afterlife” is a bright, dancy take on Arcade Fire, with a high playful synth line. Watch Arcade Fire’s official lyric video below:
“Reflektor” is out on Oct. 29.
