Teenager sitting in truck suspicious. On Oct. 17, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 13700 block of Kuehster Road, southeast of Conifer, after a resident said she had seen a teen in a truck at the end of her drive every time she left for work and when she came home at midday. She thought he was casing her house. Deputies went to a nearby residence where they’d had previous encounters and asked the father and son who lived there to call them.

Woman shoe-lifts at Sears. On Oct. 16, deputies went to Sears, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), where one woman said another was seen leaving with shoes without paying for them. The suspect said she was going to sell the shoes on Craigs- list. She said she was sorry and was arrested for shoplifting.

Misuse of loyalty cards leads to arrest. Jeffco deputies went to King Soopers, 9800 W. Belleview Ave., unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), on Oct. 17 when a store manager reported that an employee had loaded prescription points onto several loyalty cards and later used them to buy groceries at different stores. The worker was fired and arrested for theft.

Woman reports “noxious” odors in Littleton. On Oct. 17, deputies went to the 8500 block of West Rice Avenue, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), where a woman reported noxious odors coming from her neighbor’s house. She said she thought neighbors were making marijuana brownies. She also said cars come and go all day long. When the deputies went to the neighbor’s house, no one was home and they did not smell marijuana.
