2014 is shaping up quite nicely for the Fray. The new single, “Love Don’t Die,” is a punchy and knee slappin’ effort. The track treads new water for the usually safe piano driven, ballad-centric band that everybody’s mom and sister loves. We’re interested to see what the Colorado band comes up with on its forthcoming album, “Helios,” due out on Jan. 14.

The Fray performed “Love Don’t Die” on “The Tonight Show” on Thursday, with Isaac Slade’s howls and thundering guitar from Dave Welsh. This week, the Fray stopped by to help raise $650,000 for flood victims.
