GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Glenwood Springs residents who live near a noisy postal facility have won approval from the city council to rezone their homes so they can sell or lease them for business use.
According to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent ( ), residents want to protect their investments after losing sleep or tenants who object to the overnight rumble of trucks and sorting operations.
U.S. Postal Service official John Hite told residents that the noisy operations are necessary and aren’t likely to change.
