Trinidad James came completely undone about all things New York rap-related at the Converse Rubber Tracks Show on Tuesday night … in Brooklyn. The young Def Jam-signee launched into a tirade about waning album sales and the differences between Atlanta and New York.

Making bold assertions about the history of New York rap (“I remember when New York ran this shit!”) and how Atlanta is currently setting the trends, the crowd received his words mostly in shock. The ostentatious MC goes on to talk Kendrick Lamar’s “King of NY” declaration and further lambast the birthplace of hip-hop.

, after the meltdown James ranted further on his Instagram account with the hashtag #CrazyDeacon, saying:

“I said a lot tonight in NY and people are prolly gonna take the negative and run with it but my main purpose in life only is to take care of my mama and keep my shoe game on “30 million”. Other than that if I can inspire a young person to be the best person they wanna be along the way….then cool. Nothing else matters.” #CrazyDeacon #BlackBatman
