GREELEY, Colo.—A 32-year-old man who was shot by SWAT team members during a nine-hour standoff in LaSalle is being held at the Weld County Jail on $250,000 bail.
The Greeley Tribune reports () Jeffrey Plahn of LaSalle exchanged gunfire with the Weld County SWAT team during a standoff that ended early Wednesday morning. He was released from the hospital Friday after being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Plahn was arrested on suspicion of eight counts of attempted first-degree murder, eight counts of attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference, eight counts of first-degree assault on a peace officer, eight counts of felony menacing and one count of prohibited use of a weapon.
He is set to appear in court Wednesday.
