All eastbound lanes of West 6th Avenue in Lakewood were reopen around 5:30 p.m. after being closed for hours due to a crash.
Lakewood police described the Tuesday afternoon crash as “serious.”
Lakewood police reported via Twitter one person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Colorado Department of Transportation monitors said traffic was backed up for miles after the crash.
