Wheat Ridge police are asking the community for help in identifying a man who robbed an Everyday Store on Nov. 19.

The suspect entered the store at West 38thAvenue and Harlan Street at about 8:12 p.m. and talked to the clerk for a while before leaving without any purchases. He retuned a short time later with a handgun and demanded money, according to a Monday news release from Wheat Ridge police.

The suspect is described as being 45 to 55 years old and with a stuttering speech impediment.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police at 303-235-2947.
