The Grawlix isn’t exactly looking for things to do. The Denver comedy trio, composed of stand-ups Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl and Ben Roy, is hard at work on a half-dozen for its top-rated Amazon pilot and basking in the sold-out success of its and San Francisco shows this fall.

But between national tour dates and its monthly showcase at the , the group is preparing to welcome acclaimed L.A. stand-up show , hosted by comedians (and Grawlix buddies) and Jonah Ray, to the Bug on Jan. 10 for a run-through of Meltdown’s upcoming Comedy Central pilot taping.

If you want to get a taste of the Ben Stiller-produced show before it hits TV and tablet screens, this your chance. And if we may be so biased to say so, “Portlandia” veteran Nanjiani and Nerdist favorite Ray are two of the funniest stand-ups working today, so this is a solid bet for an evening of laughs. (Also expect some Denver comics on the bill.)

Tickets, $10, are on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 via . Expect this one to sell out quickly.

Also in Grawlix news: the boys, along with filmmaking duo the Nix Bros., recorded some auditions for the fake show “Space Cops” while a plethora of great comedians were in town in August for the High Plains Comedy Festival (founded and run by Cayton-Holland and comedian/producer Andy Juett) and it went live today on .

Check it out to see appearances from the mighty Kyle Kinane, Howard Kremer, Andy Peters, Matt Braugner, Kurt Braunouhler, Bryan Cook, David Gborie, Jake Weisman and Denver’s own Kristin Rand, Chris Charpentier, Matt Monroe, Nathan Lund, Ben Roy, Andy Juett and Aaron Urist.
