The Masterpiece Costume Ball to benefit Rocky Mountain PBS on Jan. 4 includes a sneak peek of the first hour of season four of “Downton Abbey,” dinner, drinks, a silent auction and costume contest. Guests will be dressing like English gentry or in 1920s-inspired American style for the event, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, 770 Pennsylvania St. The screening will be held in the first hour of the event.
