We’ll be watching closely this year — not just because he’s been getting in fights and yelling at people lately — but to see if he actually comes out with his second album in as many years. West has announced his first summer show — a headlining spot at the X Games in Austin — after ends in February.

West is reportedly scheduled to drop his follow-up to “Yeezus” this summer. But before announcing this X Games show, West had no festival dates or tours scheduled past February in 2014. Perhaps this announcement is the start of some activity in the world of West.

The summer X Games are the first to take place outside of Los Angeles throughout the series’ 11-year run. Along with West, Mac Miller, Mayer Hawthorne, the Flaming Lips and more are slated to rock the stage on June 5 through June 8.
