Reports of a man sneaking into a Denver home and taking a selfie with the homeowner’s cellphone last month was a misunderstanding.
According to a Denver Police Crimestoppers release, a woman reported to police that she believed of himself with her cell at about 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The picture was a close-up of the man’s face.
Well, that never happened, police now say. The woman had a picture sharing application on her phone and the selfie she found was a picture of another friend’s friend, police said Wednesday.
