A man who was shot multiple times Sunday night in Aurora has died.
Aurora police said the shooting happened in a strip mall parking lot in the 15200 block of E. Smoky Hill Road around 8:25 p.m.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, police said.
, police were looking for two or three men who left the area in a light-colored car.
Aurora police’s homicide investigators were called to the scene and detectives had several witnesses to interview. After the interviews, investigators were able to identify and find a vehicle that’s possibly connected to the case.
The suspect vehicle has been impounded, Aurora police said in a media release.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
