A backcountry skier was killed in an avalanche south of Platoro Reservoir near Conejos Peak, southeast of Wolf Creek Pass, on Tuesday.
That marks the seventh avalanche-related death this season according to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
No additional details were released concerning the victim.
Crews will visit the site Wednesday.
