Six people were injured Sunday morning when two vehicles struck a third that was stalled on Interstate 25 south of Castle Rock, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Someone reported the vehicle was stalled near mile marker 174 at 4:16 a.m., said Trooper Nate Reid. Six minutes later someone reported the accident. “The vehicle stalled in traffic or close to traffic,” Reid said.
Alcohol may have played a part in the crash, Reid said.
