While the purpose of the service is safety, it could revolutionize how parents keep track of their children. Imagine the horror of a teenager who has an emergency distress signal broadcast to the world if they aren’t back in time to turn off the emergency message. That would be, like, social suicide.

2. Play videos on all your Xbox-connected screens

Microsoft their Xbox Video service today, with improved playback being offered with the latest install. Now you can start watching a movie on one screen, then pause, switch screens, and pick up at the same spot in your video somewhere else. It’s just like magic, but on the Internet.

Microsoft will continue to roll out new updates to the Xbox One TV and video interface as the company tries to turn the gaming platform into a complete entertainment console.

The site has tips for business owners, from personal branding and hiring to marketing and sales. While it may seem odd to put a small business out on the site, LinkedIn is hoping that it will be successful and attract advertising.
