Interview with Pantelis “Pete” Fafalios, owner
How did you get involved in this business?
I came to New York from Greece and began working in restaurants. The rest is history.
What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
I make the best pizza crust anywhere and almost everything is housemade and cooked with lots of love. We are family-owned and operated. We use only top-notch ingredients. We have been in business 29 years, which is a long time for restaurants in Denver. My wife, son and I work together to make it happen. Our restaurant offers more personal service and consistently delicious and fresh food.
What do you like best about your line of work?
We enjoy people and love to cook for them.
What is your business’ biggest challenge?
Long hours, stress and backbreaking work.
Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
I am Greek and not Italian. I speak four languages and was a mechanical engineer in the Merchant Marines.
