
Former roommate breaks car mirror. A man called Denver Police on April 8 after his former roommate broke his car mirror in the 4600 block of Kittredge Street. The victim said his former roommate had come by to collect his things. After a dispute over some of the items, the suspect became angry and broke the side exterior mirror of the victim’s car in the garage.
Woman in car attacked by assailant. A woman was assaulted outside her car April 9 in the 3000 block of Havana Street. The woman told Denver Police that a suspect approached her and tried to get into her car while her child was in the backseat. The man hit the woman in the head with a rock and took some items.
Employee caught making fake refunds. An employee at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, 5125 Chambers Road, was caught making false refunds and keeping the money. A loss prevention specialist called Denver Police on April 11 to report the incident. The officer learned that over four months, the suspect selected random customer names in a database.
Transient cited for panhandling. A man was cited April 15 after he was observed panhandling near the on-ramp to Interstate 25 from 20th Street. The suspect had been warned by Denver Police several times not to panhandle at that location.
Denver University student trespassed. A student at the University of Denver was cited for trespassing April 13 after he was observed in a housing building where he had previously been trespassed in the 1800 block of South High Street.
